Sewing Classes

We’re New York City’s leader for sewing instruction. Our classes are fit for all skill levels and interests, and our instructors are talented, patient, and dedicated. Join us for some social and creative time, or dive in deep and get technical.

It’s pretty hard to sew without elbow room. That’s why we keep our classes to a maximum of eight students. You’ll enjoy the intimate setting of a small class, plus more one-on-one time with your instructor.

Beginner Sewing Classes

Build your sewing foundation, or get a refresher on basics in Introductory Sewing. You’ll sew three projects, including a skirt from a pattern of your choice.

In Quick Start you’ll learn machine basics and sew three great projects in just four weeks.

Kid & Teen Classes

Kids learn to sew and get creative in Kids After School. Each week your child sews a different project. Kids learn to sew by hand and machine, and develop fine motor skills and their creativity.

Tweens learn to work with patterns while sewing their own skirt in Fashion Star.

In our most popular teen class, Fashion School Registration, teen fashionistas create a garment for their fashion school portfolio.
